Vision Into Action

In 2018, Janique founded Literacy Without Limits, LLC after a decade as a special education teacher. She developed the R.E.A.D. methodology, which captures Literacy Without Limits’ unique approach to literacy instruction. R.E.A.D. leads to results and increased confidence among children. She is certified as a Structured Literacy and Dyslexia Specialist by the Center for Effective Reading Instruction.

Janique is active in her community. She is an adjunct instructor at American University School of Education. She serves on the boards of The International Dyslexia Association, DC Capital Area Branch, and her high school, Commonwealth School. She is a former board member of Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD). She lives in Upper Marlboro, MD, with her husband C.J.
